Secret Admirer

First I went for a cute female scarecrow that I have now named Emily. For some reason I have been drawn to scarecrows recently and I just might have to start collecting them. They are just super adorable. I decided I didn't want Emily to be alone, so I painted her a companion whom I named Eddie. I painted the painting of Eddie to match the one with Emily so they could go side by side creating a diptych like painting. I really enjoyed creating the composition for these. I like these so much, I just might keep them. Painted with a palette knife using acrylic on 8 x 10 canvas.
